Looking for information on thirteen children bornto Daniel Cavanagh, born abt. 1766 in Ireland anddied Feb. 4, 1862, LaSalle, Ill. All but the oldest, Jeremiah emigrated from Ireland to the U.S. around the time of the famine. His youngestchild, Patrick, was born Christmas Day, 1824 andhad eight children. One son was in the civil war and never returned. Believe many family memberssettled in LaSalle and Livingston County. Some, ifnot all, thirteen were born in County Kerry, believe on the Dingle penninsula.

O'CONNOR - County Kerry IRL>LaSalle Co>Kankakee Co>Lake City, Iowa.John O'CONNOR b. 1834 County Kerry d. 1907 Lake City, Iowa. He married Ellen CONNOR (b.1830). Emigrated in 1865 (dates vary). His parents followed some years later. Seeking parents names. Children John & Ellen: Michael (b.1856), Thomas (b.1859), John (1860), Maurice (1861), MaryAnn (1864) Ellen (1867), Nora Gertrude (1873). Though there were 12 children these are the only I find on record. In 1870 family was in Utica, LaSalle County. They moved to Kankakee County in 1880 and on to Iowa in 1900 where John died in 1907. My line continues through Nora Gertrude O'CONNOR who married Thomas Stephen WARD in 1895. Their children: ARCH WARD b. 1896 and THOMAS LLOYD WARD b. 1899. Seeking parentage of John O'Connor. It is believed his parents followed him to LaSalle County.

I'm updating my query of Aug. 24,1998 on the David A. Carrier family of Lasalle Co. IL. He marr. Lucetta Morrow in 1857 and they had 7 children: Joseph Warren(1859); Eldorado C.(1860); Edward(1863); David Franklin(1865); William(1868); Mary Estella(1873); Jessie Benton(1876). My gg-grandfather David A.Carrier was in the civil war; Co.D, 104th reg. IL vols. He died in 1878 in Peru, IL, but I believe he is buried at Middleport Hill cem, in Meigs Co. OH. The family lived in Meigs Co. during the 1870's. Lucetta marr. Enoch Hagenbuch in 1891 in Utica, IL. I need more info on her. My g-grandfather Eldorado C. marr. Margaret Schoenlein in 1884 in Meigs Co.OH and they had 8 children. Eldorado, Maggie, Frank, Alberta, David A. and an Emma Carrier are all buried beside each other in the Middleport Hill cem. Any info on David A. Carrier and his family would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Looking for information on TATE family in Northville Township, c. 1900. John and Mary WARNACK TATE, immigrants from Ireland in 1877, settled in Illinois as farmers. Oldest daughter Sarah was born in Ireland, remaining children James, John, Emma, Herbert, Robert and Gladys all born 1884-1901. Can't find John and Mary at the 1920 census, but children seemed to move to the Chicago area. Joseph Blackwell b ?1821 England m. 1846 Barbara Hoyt Granddaughter of Benjamin Hess. Joseph died 6 May 1853? Would like to know if this is the death date for Joseph Blackwell and where he is buried. Joseph and Barbara had four children: Sarah, Elizabeth, Jemima and Zeno. After Joseph's death Barbara remarried in 1855 to Joseph Hammer. She had Isaac, Rachel, Katie, Joseph and Jasper.Would like to know about this second family. I know in 1860 census Zeno was living with Jeremiah Hess Family and Sarah was living with Asa Crozier Family. Haven't checked the 1860 census for Joseph Hammer and Barbara.

I am researching Killoran/Ryan names. Mary A. Ryan is the daughter of James and Margaret Ryan of Streator. Mary A. Ryan had a twin sister Julia, born in 1863 in Streator. She is my grandmother.
