John M. (Milton) Perkins  1898-1983
 
Services for John M. Perkins of Marseilles will be Monday at 2 P.M. at the Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles.  Mr. Perkins died this morning at Community Hospital of Ottawa.  He was 85.
 
Born in Campbellsville, Ky., on May 13, 1898, Mr. Perkins was the son of Lonza and Sara (Burdge) Perkins.  He married Susie Enyart of Mansville, Ky., in 1920.  She died in 1977. 
 
Visitation will be after 2 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery.  Memorials should be made to the Heart Fund or the building fund at the Marseilles Church of God.
 
Surviving Mr. Perkins are two sons, William of Earlville and Albert (Pete) of Seneca; three daughters, Mrs. Delbert (Eva) Chapman of Newark, Mrs Rex (Iva) Olson of Marseilles, and Mrs. Dell (Irene) Farmer of Marseilles; four brothers, Thomas of Indiana, Ezra of Marseilles, and Jimmie and Arthur of Knifely, Ky.; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Holt of Shelbyville, Ind., and Mrs. Lillie Knight of Frankin, Ind.; and 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sons, a daughter, three brothers and a sister.
