Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Annie
Ellison of Albuquerque. N.M. Mrs. Ellison was born in Monahan
County, Ireland, in 1841. When a small girl she came to this country,
and spent most of her girlhood in Ottawa. In 1870 she moved West,
where she had since resided. She leaves surviving three children - Mrs.
Nora Jones of Albuquerque, N.M.; Mrs Mary Brady, of Chicago,
and Wm. Sullivan, of this city- and one sister- Mrs Catherine
Glendon, of this city.
MRS ANNIE ELLISON EX-OTTAWAN DEAD
Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Annie Ellison, aged 80 years, which occured on Sunday at her home in Albuquerque, N.M. Mrs. Ellison was a former well known resident of Ottawa.
She was born in County Monaghan Ireland in 1841, but spent
most of her girlhood in Ottawa. In 1870 she moved out west, where she has
made her home for more than half a century.
Surviving she leaves three children Mrs Nora Jones
of Albuquerque, Mrs Mary Brady of Chicago, and William Sullivan
of Ottawa. She is a sister of Mrs. Katherine Glendon of Post
Street.
The remains will be brought back to Ottawa for burial.
The funeral service weill be held at 9 o clock Friday morning from St.
Columba's church and burrial will be made in St. Columba's cemetery.
