Private funeral services for Miss Rose Downs, aged 13, widely known Oglesby girl, who died at her home 612 North Columbia avenue early Saturday morning, after an illness of several hours of spinal meningitis, were held at 10 o'clock Monday morning at the family home.
Rev. O. E. Spencer, pastor of the Oglesby Union church conducted the services and interment was in Oakwood cemetery.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Downs, and two sisters, Doris and Willa Downs, at home.
