Military Burial For J. CORRIE
Marseilles - Funeral rites for James Corrie, 45, World War II veteran, who
formerly lived in Marseilles and at the time of his death a resident of
Grand Ridge, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Seals-Campbell Chapel,
Marseilles. The Rev. Charles White, Grand Ridge Presbyterian Church student
pastor, officiated. Burial was in the Galloway Cemetery south of Marseilles.
Pallbearers were Henry Stassell, Herbert Roseling, Arthur Leibold, James
Brown, Chester Wal__ and Kenneth Redman of the Grand Ridge area.
Members of the Marseilles American Legion and VFW Posts accorded military
honor. Serving as officer of the ?? was Allen G. Spencer; co-bearers, James
Bottarini and Lawrence Gast; color guard William Outman and Ra? Dunham;
firing squad, Andr?? Enrico, Paul Eiben, Lewis P??ti, Larry Shehorn, Gordon
Sl?ton and George T. Hougas. Kenneth Dropek sounded taps.
