KILLED BY AN EXPLODED ANVIL
De Witt C. Barnes, formerly of Rutland township, was accidentally killed at
Waco, Texas, on the 11th inst., a fragment of an exploded anvil penetrating
his brain. He had attained a high standing in the community of his adoption,
closely identified in all good work. He was a devoted son, husband and
brother, respected by all, with a large circle of friends who mourn his
loss.
