STEPMOTHER OF LOCAL MAN DIES IN WESTERN CITY
J. H. Baker, 1315 E. Broadway, today received work of the death of his step-mother, Mrs. Caroline Baker, which occurred at her home in Stanford, Montana, Thursday. Mrs. Baker had been ill for some time. She was a former Streator resident, living here many years prior to moving to Montana in 1913.
The body will be brought to Wagner Brother's funeral home, where services will be held Thursday. Burial will be in Phillips cemetery.
Surviving with Mr. Baker are two stepdaughters, Mrs. Louis Missel, Streator, and Mrs. Emma Missel, Chicago, and the following children, Charles, Albert, Paul, Sarah, Mary and Clara. Mrs. Baker's husband preceded her in death in 1900.
While residing here Mrs. Baker made her home on North Otter Creek street.
