Does anyone have info on Johann Knipp who died abt. 1872. Wife was Anna Christina Trompeter Knipp? Would like to hear from anyone interested in this family. I have information on his son John Martin Knipp, and his descendants. Will share their info.

I am looking for a Jan Henrik Olsen born 24 April 1869 in Norway, Karmøy.
He immigrated to America in 1888 and settled in Millington, Illinois,
Kendall Co., but moved around a lot. He married in Millington 4 October 1890
to Olava (Oline) Nilsen. She was born 1869 in Norway, Stavanger. Jan changed
his name to John Henry Walker, and sometimes only to John Henry Olson. A few
years earlier in 1882 came his brother Ole Mathias also to U.S. but I am not
sure whether it is in the same place. His sisters Olava Katrine born 23
January1866 and Helvik Gurine born 24 July 1867 also immigrated (1893 -
1895) to the U.S. probably in the same area which can be discerned by a few
preserved letters from Norway to the John Henry Walker.

I am researching the above families and would like to find information on
them. The Wagners came from Germany or western Pennsylvania in the mid to
late 1800’s. They are listed in the City Directory of LaSalle and then Peru.
Leonard was a Music Teacher. The Bakers are from LaSalle, Illinois and I
believe there is a Baker Avenue was named after the family. The Justs were
also from Germany and settled in Peru, Illinois.
Thank You
